The Designer
Veronika Wildgruber is a multifaceted designer based in Berlin, with a background in industrial and graphic design. In addition to her eyewear collection, she designs for the French luxury brand Hermès as well as with international household and furniture companies. The Collection

The collection blurs the boundary between the second and third dimensions. Every frame has a unique design history: lines emerge from the subtraction of volumes, and sophisticated colour compositions are unveiled through the layering and bevelling of specially developed acetate materials. Some frames appear to be drawn out of thin air, others trick the eye into perceiving impossible closed loops.
Aesthetic tension arises from delightful contrasts, contrasts, such as delicate circles juxtaposed with bold brows, glossy bridges against matte surfaces, and smooth versus raw edges.Though exploring a variety elements, the collection remains anchored to a cohesive, instantly recognisable aesthetic. It is reimagined and translated into new materials and techniques while preserving an unmistakable formal coherence.
Inspired by architecture, the future and geometry, Veronika Wildgruber frames are independent of everything, strong and distinct.

Brand Philosophy
Veronika Wildgruber Eyewear glasses are more than just accessories; they're statements of individuality and innovation. Constructing her very own eyewear language, one which is both recognisable and aesthetically unique is a key motivation for the designer Veronika Wildgruber.
Her glasses are not only visually striking but also technically remarkable. Through extensive research and collaboration with manufacturers, each pair features unique geometries, stunning colour combinations, and refined details.
The brand's foundation lies in two core principles: impeccable craftsmanship and responsible manufacturing. Every component is meticulously crafted by trusted family-owned companies in Germany and Italy, reflecting Veronika's commitment to long-term partnerships and sustainable practices. Innovation and artistry converge in every pair of Veronika Wildgruber Eyewear glasses, redefining the boundaries of style and functionality.

The Company
Veronika Wildgruber Eyewear made its debut in 2010 with four handcrafted frames. Following their initial presentation at the Silmo show, they promptly earned the Silmo d’Or Special Jury prize, marking an extraordinary achievement. Encouraged by this positive response, Veronika launched the first series production in 2012.
Dedication to quality has been a driving force behind the brand's organic growth: today the company prides itself on a competent and close-knit team that operates from its office located in the heart of Kreuzberg.
Since its foundation, the company has maintained a strong focus on research and experimentation, reflecting Veronika's distinctive approach as a product designer. In 2017, Veronika Wildgruber Eyewear was once again honoured with the prestigious Silmo d’Or for Best Design Sunglasses, further solidifying the brand's reputation for excellence. Building on this success, the Silmo d’Or Premiere Classe prize was added to the collection in 2023, completing a remarkable trio of acknowledgements.

Production and Sustainability
Every component of the frames is made in Europe, mainly by small, family-run businesses in Germany and Italy. The product development takes place in close and personal contact with the suppliers, ensuring the company’s values are implemented at each step of the way.
This guarantees not only premium quality – but also secures high standards of working conditions and sustainable production processes. Veronika Wildgruber aims to make all company processes as sustainable and circular as possible. The cases are made from 100% regenerated leather. The cleaning cloth is made in Poland from 100% recycled plastic. Parcels are shipped with carbon-neutral solutions, and the paper packaging tape used can be recycled together with the cardboard boxes. All packing material is on its “second life,” having been re-used from incoming deliveries. The company’s vehicle is a cargo bike.
